From the looks of the trailer, i think it’s terrible. It looks like a commercial. I can’t really tell what it is about. That’s the views i have heard from some people.
But i say, why can’t people acknowledge the fact that, we all cannot enjoy the same type of movie, and that some people might just have a taste for this sort of movie? I don’t think Malick is trying to prove a point to anyone about his value as a filmmaker.
I enjoy action, crime and thriller movies, but once a while, i enjoy romantic comedy that does not mean that every movie should be the same forgetting that some people enjoy these kind of movies. You are entitled to your opinions though…. With that said, the voice overs, close-up, handheld shots are becoming redundant, boring and cliches.
